Update: I've been living here for almost two years now and absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance team is really quick to come by and fix things when needed. It's a rent stabilized building, which is also great at renewal time. July 2017: Just visited the building yesterday and wow! The amenities are incredible and for such a low monthly rate! The newly renovated units are beautiful and very spacious. The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is a fair distance from the train but they offer a free shuttle during peak hours to a few different locations spanning all the way down 42nd to Lexington Ave. The views are incredible, also. We love the serine neighborhood feeling - it's quiet and tucked away just off the busy traffic of West End Ave but steps from the amenities and conveniences we expect of Hell's Kitchen. Really looking forward to making River Place our next home!

Amazing apartment with great view and is close to everything. The stuffs there are all amazing. Brian has made my move-in process pretty easy, and Chelsea, Katelynn, Yomalis, Luis, etc are all of great help during my move-out process. Doorman and concierge are also always there to assist. The only complaint is the neighbor live upstairs was a little disturbing sometimes, but I guess this can happen anywhere. Overall it's been great living here. I had to move-out due to work relocation but will definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for an apartment.

My husband and I just moved into this complex last week. The experience was wonderful from the first day we viewed the apartment with Brian Love. The application process was simple, all of our questions were answered promptly and the move-in was a breeze. The staff here are exceptional and made us feel welcome from day 1. The property is gorgeous and our apartment is spotless and beautiful. We couldn't be happier to be residents here.

I find it hard to explain what a warm, friendly, happy and community centric building River Place is. From the maintenance staff to everyone at the desk - we felt like we BELONGED. Coming home to River Place after a day in the chaos that is Manhattan always made me feel good. I felt SAFE and most importantly, i felt like i was HOME. We lived facing the Hudson River and the sunsets were simply mind blowing. Yes, the West side highway is loud and yes, you will want to replace the blinds with blackout curtains, but to have the west side path literally at your door is worth the price. 11 months after leaving we continue to drop in to see friends who are still there (most people stay a long time) and everyone who works there still remembers us. Lease renewals each year were effortless and always reasonable, and the gym is brilliant. We miss River Place greatly. Thank you.

I moved in several weeks ago and so far have been extremely impressed. The apartment is exactly what I was looking for, with an incredible river view, and the amenities are unparalleled for the price. Most importantly, the service provided by the building staff is exceptional. Everyone I've interacted with has been extremely friendly and responsive. I'd like to echo the previous reviews and highlight Brian Love in the Leasing Office who helped me get approved and sign a lease on very short notice, going out of his way to make what could have been a very stressful process as seamless as possible.

Grace from the leasing office at River Place truly made my apartment hunting experience exceptional. She went above and beyond, demonstrating patience and genuine care throughout the entire touring and application process. River Place is nestled in the heart of the city, but somehow also feels like its own oasis, making it undoubtedly a hidden gem. Having toured other luxury buildings, none compare to the unmatched excellence provided by Silverstein Properties. From its prime location to its top-notch amenities and dedicated staff, River Place exceeds all expectations. I couldn't be happier with my decision to make this community my home.

I stayed in River Place and absolutely loved living here. The staff was beyond professional and kind, the rent was cheap compared to other places and the view was phenomenal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at the Hell's Kitchen area.

I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review to fully experience all aspects of the building from the leasing, management, fitness center, concierge, and doorman. And without a doubt I can honestly say that everyone is well trained and professional. From the time that I meet Brian (the leasing manager) I have not been disappointed. Brian is not salesy like other buildings and takes the time to address all your concerns. I have been in 100s of buildings in my career as a NYC real estate broker and choose River Place to call home because of the price, amenities and Brian.

I’ve had a great experience living here, starting with the leasing office (Grace Kelly was fabulous!). The doormen and concierges are lovely and kind. The mgmt office has been communicative and any maintenance requests have been handled efficiently. The building app is helpful and neighbors will post things they’re selling. My only negative feedback is the building gym. It’s annoying to have to pay extra for it and they are so strict about guests, which is annoying because it’s the one part of the building that has outdoor space to sit. So when I have a friend over and want to sit outside with them, we literally have to pay a guest fee, which is ridiculous. Additionally, the morning shuttle isn’t super reliable and gets filled up fast (like 10 minutes before it’s supposed to leave). The shuttle is important because the building isn’t super close to the subway. It’s like a 12 minute walk (not too bad but annoying in the rain). So I always get so annoyed when I go to use the shuttle and it’s full / left very early. Overall, River Place is a wonderful place to live. I highly recommend!
